People running for cover الناس يسرعون للاحتماء

Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive لا يعرفون ان كانوا اموات او احياءا

They came with their tanks and their planes اثوا(الاسرائليون) بدباباتهم و طائراتهم

With ravaging fiery flames باللهب الناري المدمر

And nothing remains لا شييء يبقى

Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze مجرد صوت يعلو من بين ضباب الدخان

We will not go down نحن لن نستسلم

In the night ....without a fight .. في الليل ... بدون قتال

You can burn up our mosques ثسثطيعون حرق مساجدنا

And our homes and our schools و منازلنا و مدارسنا

But our spirit will never die و لكن ارواحنا لن تموت

We will not go down نحن لن نستسلم

In Gaza tonight في غزة الليلة

Women and children alike النساء و الاطفال على حد سواء

Murdered and massacred night after night يثم قتلهم و دبحهم ليلة بعد ليلة

While the so-called leaders of countries afar في حين من يسمون بقادة البلدان في غاية البعد 


Debating on who’s wrong or right كانوا يتناقشون حول من المخطئ او المحق

But their powerless words were in vain و لكن قوة كلماتهم دهبت هباءا

And the bombs fell down like acid rain و سقطت القنابل مثل الامطار الحمضية

But through the tears and the blood and the pain و لكن من خلال الدموع و الدماء و الالم

You can still hear that voice مازلت تستطيع سماع هدا الصوت

through the smoky haze من بين ضباب الدخان

The faithful friend

The faithful friend can create a smile in our face

الصديق الوفي يمكنه ان يخلق ابتسامة في وجهنا

When we are depressed,

عندما نكون مقهورين

And when everything goes wrong.

ولاشيء يمكنه ان يصير على نحو جيد

The faithful friend can understand our suffering

الصديق الوفي يمكنه ان يفهم معانتنا

And by a simple hand grip

وبقبضة يد بسيطة

He brings us back to the righteous path.

يعيدنا الى طريق الصواب

The faithful friend is created to secretly share with us

الصديق الوفي خلق ليشاركنا

Our secrete dreams .

احلامنا الاكثر سرية وبكل سرية

The faithful friend is worth more than gold

الصديق الوفي قيمته اكثر من الدهب

Because in the bottom of his/her heart seeks happiness for us

لانه من اعماق قلبه لا يريد سوى سعادتنا

M…..is for the million things she gave me
هي من اجل ملايين الاشياء التي اهدتها الي.....M

O....means only that she is growing old
تعني فقط انها تزداد كبرا.....O

T....is for the tears she shed to save me
من اجل الدموع التي درفتها لتنقدني......T

H....is for her heart of purest gold
هي من اجل قلبها الخالص دهبا......H

E....is for the eyes with love-light shining
هي من اجل عيونها الساطعة حبا.....E

R....means right, and right she will always be
تعني الحق وستبقى دائما على حق......R

Put them all together

جمع كل هده الاحرف معا

They spell “Mother”
"Mother" تعطيك كلمة الام

A word that means the world to me

In her lap, safety is في حضنها الامان

In her chest , compassion is في صدرها الحنان

In her heart , faith is في قلبها الايمان

In her palms , charity is في كفها الاحسان

If darkness wraps me ان لفني الضلام

In her lap I sleep في حضنها انام

Or if illness affects me او مسني السقام

In her palms, peace is في كفها السلام

Her speech is lyrical كلامها غناء

her whisper is healing و همسها شفاء

her sympathy is a cure و عطفها دواء

Her life is devotion و عيشها وفاء

1- We use the present continuous to talk about an action happening : Now /At the moment/ Right now.... نستعمل الحاضر المستمر للحديث عن الاحداث التي تجري الان خلال لحظة التكلم

2-Rule(القاعدة) : Subject (الفاعل) + To Be (am/are/is) + Verb+ing
