Meaning 1: Take care  If you look after someone, you make sure that they are safe. If you look after something,you make sure that it is in good condition

Examples:   She always LOOKS AFTER her grandparents. She found that LOOKING AFTER two young children on her ownwas not easy. That bike was expensive.You should LOOK AFTER it.  My sister is still very ill and is being LOOKED AFTER by our parents.
